Default DoubleDragon - 1st spell to break the mold?

Ok maybe I'm wrong here but I seem to have noticed the following.

For a player 'DD' works as intended (I guess), 2sec PBAoE
Elite and exhaustion - you know that perfect combination we all love
All that and a very small burn radius

However it at least appears the mobs wielding them have a lot more fun
Small parties (particularly hench) seem to take a lot of damage either at casting range or BIG PB range

I plan to test more burning, and get myself and party burnt more

But my initial impressions are I want their version of it the spell

with only a 15 casting and a dmg possibility of 182 i can see why the exhaustion but its still not worth an elite.

Exhaustion is usually reserved for spells that do unconditional knockdowns. This spell doesn't have anything to do with knockdowns. What's exhaustion doing here?

Either Progedy (or however that 6+ energy regen spell is spelled.. ) Give exhaustion too.. So does the skill energy boon... Its not only skills that give KD that couse Exhaustion..

What use does Energy Boon even have? I really don't see the point in a spell with a 5 second recharge, but gives you exhaustion that will last for another 25 seconds, its really self defeating.

This is 1 of those skills that sucks beyond belief but is 1 of the ultimate for wiping out henchman. I looked away while in Snake Dance earlier and found my entire party of henchman lieing dead on top of each after a couple of griffons totally wasted them, Symbol of Wrath any use anywhere but henchman killing?

Energy boon is basically trading off energy for exhaustion. If you can run on low energy while having a large buffer of empty energy for exhaustion, I can see how it's useful. Basically the same idea as Ether Prodigy, which basically every ele and their grandmother uses.

2 people, Arcane Mimicry, Arcane Echo, Fire Attunement, and Double Dragon, and you have one of the fastest IWAY Zaishen farming builds available, barring a trapper build, which wipes them out in 1-3 seconds depending on how many people you have.

But it's really fun and doesn't have as much preparation time. You can just stand around chatting while you wait, and then blow them up.

I guarantee they'll all be dead by the time you and your friend cast the third Double Dragon >_>

But yeah, I don't really think much of Double Dragon aside from exploiting AI.
